Meet Katie
I specialize in trauma-informed care and attachment-focused therapy. I understand that past experiences can deeply impact our present relationships and emotional well-being. With compassion and sensitivity, I strive to create a safe space for clients to explore and heal from their past wounds. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which helps individuals process and release trauma stored in the body and mind. I draw on attachment theory to address relational patterns and support clients in developing healthier connections with themselves and others. In addition to trauma and attachment, I have experience working with clients in adoption, anxiety, and depression. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I hope to help you find strength in your current life and heal from past experiences.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy baking, running, spending time with my husband and kids, doing pointless DIY projects, and watching trashy reality TV.

Meet Leah
I am honored to work with my clients on navigating the good and the hard parts of life. I've worked with children, teens, and adults and have spent the majority of my career helping people of all ages to process and move forward from trauma. I'm particularly passionate about working with parents on trauma-informed parenting strategies and learning how to best support their children through difficult events. I also enjoying working with Neurodivergent individuals on learning how to reframe their experience to feel more empowered and less self-critical. As someone who was diagnosed later in life with ADHD, I care deeply about helping others to manage their symptoms and reduce feelings of shame in a society that is set up for neurotypical brains.
Outside of work, you're likely to find me thrift store shopping, hanging out with my cats, spending time with friends and family, or watching bad reality tv. In past seasons of my life, I've enjoyed playing viola, playing roller derby, and writing creative nonfiction.

Meet Carly
In my practice, I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. By using a person-centered approach to therapy, I help my clients connect with their inner selves and find the strength and courage to overcome their challenges. Navigating through a neurotypical world can be exhausting, confusing, and frustrating, especially for neurodiverse individuals. If you’re here reading this, you’re most likely hoping to connect with a therapist who “gets it.” As someone who identifies as neurodivergent, I get it. I've worked with children and adults of all ages throughout my career and have a passion for working with individuals with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, and those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community.
No matter what your reason is for seeking out therapy, when you are in my office you will always feel seen, heard, and loved. If you are looking for a therapist to meet you where you're at in your journey and support you through life's challenges, I would love to be that person for you.
Outside of the office you might find me at one of my four kiddos sporting events (football, baseball, volleyball, horseback riding, track), enjoying the many unique activities C-U has to offer (especially the Urbana farmer's market), relaxing at home bingeing on Netflix/Hulu shows with my cats (Hermione and Minerva), or going on walks with my husband and my Rottweiler, Duke.
Carly is accepting new clients.
